The sole reason for this post is for one intention only. Not to bash Hillary and uplift Obama. This post is for a number of my female family and friends who have informed me that they are voting for Hillary Clinton simply based on gender. Not only is this an abuse of our voting privileges. But it is dangerous, to cast an ill informed vote is absurd. I doesn't matter to me what platform she running on, what good is it without integrity?
Make no mistake about who Hillary Clinton is.
Hillary Clinton is part of a failed Democratic Party, led by her husband. That enabled George W. Bush and the Republican majorities, and all the havoc they have wreaked at home and abroad. She's part of the Clinton machine that decimated the national Democratic Party.
Hillary Clinton is a chameleon. Until her defeat in Iowa, Hillary Clinton assumed her candidacy was inevitable. Not until Barack Obama became a real threat to her candidacy did we see any sign of emotion. Don’t get it twisted her emotion was birthed from fear which then turned to anger then with the ruthlessness of pit bull, the Clinton’s set out to do what they do best.
They have embarked on a strategy of talking about race (divide & conquer). Bill and Hillary Clinton have succeeded in making an election that was about gender and age (experience) into one that is about race. It didn’t matter that the Obama’s campaign has resisted any temptation to campaign on race. Don’t be deceived the Clintons decided to play the race card in order to achieve the polarization of the white vote that they needed to offset that among blacks. Anything that portrays Obama as black and asks about the role of race in the contest will serve their political interest. And you can bet that there is nothing they won’t do … if they can get away with it.
The Clintons are far from above using race to win an election. Running for president in the aftermath of the 1992 Los Angeles race riots, Clinton seized on a comment made by rapper Sister Souljah (click here) in an interview with her published on May 13, 1992 in The Washington Post. She said, “If black people kill black people every day, why not have a week and kill white people?”
Clinton pounced, eager to show moderates that he was not a radical and was willing to defy the political correctness imposed on the Democratic Party by the civil rights leadership. In a speech to the Rainbow Coalition he said, “If you took the words ‘white’ and ‘black’ and you reversed them, you might think David Duke was giving that speech,” an allusion to the former Klansman then running for public office in Louisiana.
And this is for my cousin ChiChi.Trust, I have no desire to revisit our debate last Sunday about the Clinton-Johnson connection. However after you read the following information I’ve gathered, I do believe you will be hard pressed to continue your argument that Bill Clinton was clueless to what Bob Johnson was going to say. Their relationship is not as casual as you believe.
Bob Johnson met the
Since 1990, Bob Johnson has donated $2 million to congressional and presidential candidates, and 99 percent of that has gone to Democrats, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. He has given $14,800 to Hillary Clinton since she first ran for the Senate in 2000. He gave $4,500 total to Obama during the 2004 and 2006 cycles, but none so far during this campaign, the CRP reports.
After Bill Clinton left office, he and Johnson traded professional favors, Johnson said. When Johnson was bidding to buy the Charlotte Bobcats NBA team, he asked
Likewise, when Hillary Clinton was considering her presidential run in late 2006, Johnson got a call from her staff, asking if she and her husband could use Johnson's vacation home in
